Windows 8: ?Not enough for anyone to want to upgrade?

Can Microsoft afford another “Vista” debacle? Given their overwhelming lead in desktop operating systems, they’ve got plenty of wiggle. However, Windows 8 is targeted at mobile where the company continues to struggle ? does Redmond’s grand unification strategy have enough teeth to bite?
